In a strategic move, the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) officially extended a high-level invitation to the "Global Civilization Initiative Research Center." According to this invitation, this center will be the first research center globally to be received as an official state guest at the beginning of 2026.
The delegation included a selection of experts from (Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region), who, as the "strategic minds of the region," undertook the task of deeply studying President Xi Jinping's initiatives, particularly the concept of "Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind."
The primary goal of this scientific effort is to transform this global vision into a practical roadmap, serving as a tool to overcome the cultural and economic crises of the region and build a new development model based on human partnership. Our center's main mission during this trip was the deep analysis of the concept of "Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind," presented by President Xi Jinping as a roadmap to save the world from cultural and economic crises.
Stops of Our Visit
On April 7, 2026:
Our work program began with a visit to the "Museum of the Communist Party of China" in Beijing. Here, our center's intellectual understanding was that this museum is not just a treasury of the past, but a "living brain" that demonstrates how political will can lead a nation from the "era of humiliation" to the "era of glory." Here, the profound meanings of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" were embodied, where the history of struggle was made the foundation for building a modern state that is a leader not only materially but also spiritually. This stop showed us that no change can succeed without deep historical roots.
In the afternoon, the delegation of the Global Civilization Initiative Research Center held two separate and significant meetings with Mr. Jin Xin, Assistant Minister of the International Department and Vice Minister of the IDCPC, and Mr. Yu Wei, Deputy Director General of the Bureau of West Asian and North African Affairs at the IDCPC. These meetings served as a convergence point for the center's cognitive visions.
In the meetings, there was an in-depth discussion about President Xi Jinping's initiatives, the Chinese model of modernization, and "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics." It was emphasized that this experience has proven that nations can achieve comprehensive development without abandoning their identity and civilization; this model was presented as an inspiration for the region and the world. A major part of the discussions was dedicated to reading President Xi Jinping's global initiatives, which together form the concept of "Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind."
Both sides reached a common understanding on a set of proposals and practical decisions aimed at translating these initiatives into the reality of the Middle East and finding commonalities between Chinese civilization and the civilizations of the Middle East. Discussions focused particularly on how to save the world from conflicting polarizations and move toward "civilizational integration." Our center's understanding with Mr. Jin Xin and Mr. Yu Wei was that the Middle East needs a new development model based on "common interest."
Mr. Jin Xin emphasized that China views the "Global Civilization Initiative Research Center" as a strategic partner in the region, aiming to serve peace and shared development for all humanity. Plans are in place to hold a joint activity for the "Dialogue of Civilizations Day" in mid-June as intellectual partners.
