Beijing – April 9, 2026

As part of the activities of the third day of their scientific visit to China, the delegation of the "Global Civilization Initiative Research Center" visited the Institute of West-Asian and African Studies (IWAAS), which is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). This meeting is considered one of the most significant stops of the trip, as the institute serves as a strategic decision-making center for regional affairs.
In a joint meeting attended by senior experts from the institute, along with representatives from the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) and the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), intensive discussions were held regarding the implementation of the "Global Civilization Initiative." It was emphasized that the West Asia and Africa regions will be primary focuses in future strategic research. Furthermore, the meeting highlighted "New Chinese Diplomatic Thought" and its impact on international relations. The Chinese side expressed their enthusiasm for the existence of a center specialized in this field, viewing it as a major step toward aligning the perspectives of both parties.
This visit paved the way for scientific cooperation and mutual understanding, with the aim of organizing joint conferences and facilitating researcher exchanges. Ultimately, through these high-level meetings, the "Global Civilization Initiative Research Center" aims to become a leading regional hub for analyzing global strategies and strengthening intellectual diplomacy.
